Brisbane Concert Choir
Forthcoming highlights for 2015
After a busy and successful 2014, Brisbane Concert Choir is ready for another exciting year in 2015. This year will see us presenting a range of concerts and events filled with gorgeous music, including a tour of Spain and France in September!
Our first concert of 2015 will be a special performance of Karl Jenkins' epic choral mass The Armed Man to commemorate the ANZAC Centenary.
In June, we are looking forward to celebrating Brisbane Concert Choir's twentieth anniversary with a return to our very first concert program, including Haydn's Nelson Mass.
Our annual "From Scratch" event will be held in July. This event is always a joy for Brisbane Concert Choir members and the choristers who join us from Brisbane and further afield, and we have a lovely day planned.
September will see Brisbane Concert Choir setting off for a tour of Spain and France! We look forward to performing in a range of wonderful venues and seeing the sights in these fabulous destinations. Our Brisbane audience will be able to enjoy a concert of our tour repertoire before we leave.
As usual, we end the year with a Christmas concert and carolling around Brisbane in December.
Rehearsals have commenced for our first season. They are held at St Andrew's Uniting Church, Brisbane CBD. We begin at 6.15pm and rehearse until 8.45, with a tea break midway through the evening. If you are interested in joining us in 2015, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We'd especially love to hear from tenors and basses!
